Fossil Stone Plate – Morocco

Handcrafted fossil stone plate from Morocco, polished to reveal ancient marine structures embedded in natural limestone. These fossils — often orthoceras and ammonite remains — formed when marine sediments containing shelled sea creatures were compressed and mineralized over tens of millions of years, a process for which Morocco's Erfoud region is particularly well known. Each plate is entirely unique, with slight variations in pattern, tone, weight, and fossil distribution. Dishwasher safe!

Available in two distinct color variations – a warm brown and a deep anthracite.
