Quartz Geode – XL

This quartz geode from Morocco measures 14 × 7 cm and weighs 916 g, its elongated form giving the crystal-lined interior real depth to explore. Like all quartz geodes, it began as a gas pocket in volcanic rock that filled slowly, over millions of years, with silica-rich groundwater depositing crystal after crystal inward from the cavity wall. Its larger scale makes it a natural centerpiece among mineral specimens, and a striking gift for a dedicated collector.
