Rock Crystal with Hematite - XS

This quartz specimen from Morocco measures 8.5 × 6.5 cm and weighs 220 g. Clear rock crystal grows intergrown with hematite, whose fine iron-oxide staining shows as vivid red along the crystal faces and within the quartz itself — a natural pairing found in parts of Morocco's mineral-rich Anti-Atlas region, where iron-bearing fluids color quartz as it forms. At this smaller size and price point, it's an accessible way into red-and-clear mineral pairings for a new collector.
